what do the switch W/S next to the tranny stick stand for??

winter will start you in second gear and also changes your reverse gear ratio so you get better traction sort to say.

W is a second gear start, S is a first gear start and the shift points are much higher both in the up and down changes

I keep mine on S all the time except during rain..if not then I slip and slide at stops.
