Question supersprint muffler and sport resonator

Does anyone have any experience with these products for a CLK320? How do they sound when used together? Ben, Would the supersprint muffler and sport resonator with a highflow cat work well with the V-6 headers you have coming out soon? Also, do you have any pictures of the protype V-6 headers? I like the looks of the oval shaped muffler because it looks like what came on the car and I really do not want to modify the rear end for a muffler.

Supersprint makes great exhaust products, and you would most likely be happy with it on your car. Their exhaust system would work with our headers, however the high-flow cat is most likely going to need to be cut and welded on.

By cut and weld of the high flow cat you just mean that it does not bolt on correct? It would not be much different than putting on a new cat correct? If not how well does it work with the factory cat?

Thanks,
Brent

The factory cats are restrictive, but not as much as ones made 5+ years ago. We should have some metallic cats available in January that will offer better gains than high-flow cats.

Changing the cat can help or hinder the air/smog test. The exhaust won't make a difference, and soon our headers should be CARB approved, which means that they do not make emissions worse.
