Clk-500 W209
CLKs are for girls doesn't matter if it's a W208 or W209. You'll see more girls driving a CLK than guys do.
CLK55 is the only model which i see more guys driving it instead of girls behind the wheel.
BUT then again...i wouldn't mind driving my sister's car or my brother's friend's CLK55.
the choice was obvious for me when choosing between W202 and W208 of course i'll pick the W208, but then it comes the W203. No doubt the sportiest Mercedes-Benz sedan/coupe ever made.
that's my story and i'm sticking to it...

I do agree that CLKs are driven by females more than males, like BMW 3 series, a lot of them are driven by females, my friends and I usually call those cars "mommy's car". As for CLK55 AMG, I see more females driving it than males, including my friend's mom, I guess that a lot of wives have wealthy husband to buy them top of the line CLK instead of CLK320 or 430. But again, most CLKs on this board are driven by male and if you see those cars in person, you wouldn't think it's a "mommy's car".

there you go...u understand me perfectly...i wasn't talking about the people on the board, but all the percentage of buyers out there.

It's true, there are several women driven CLK's, but non of them with H&R Sport Springs or Eibachs, Koni's or Bilstein shocks, aftermarket wheels and tires, etc.
Now where I live, in wealthy Palm Beach County, you see 60 year old ladies driving the new R230 SL-500, Jaguars XK8 and Porsche 996 and there's nothing you can do about it...... they have the money!

For that reason, I am choosing to order a E500 for the spring. It has to do with looks as well.
or as much as i hate to say it a porsche cayenne - just for the get out of my way looks.
unless we can get an ml 55 with the kompressor..?
then again I might do what i've been threatening for years and buy a 911.......... unless someone makes a tvr that does actually stay together.

I live in Coral Springs and all the time when i am in Boca you see ladies driving very expensive cars.
Like my neighbor, her husband bought her an 02' S55 AMG and she has no idea what an AMG model even is and hows its different from other S classes.
clk is supposed to be the smaller or shorter versoin of the cl.. its not supposed to resemble the E... it just happneed to look like the 210 E so maybe thats where some of you are gettin confused
are ppl saying that the 211 E class looks like the 208 clk? ???

Anyway, a friend of mine with a 99 CLK320 just offered to sell me his car (He is as compulsive as I am about his car and has taken excellent care of the car). I love the interior design of the "208", and it drives great (for a six).
You can see where this is going....I'm buying the 320 .... the best of both? You Bet!!
Remember when the first CLK320 208 came 5-6 years ago. It looked kind bland, before people put bigger wheels and lowered it. Same with the 209. Same the 300CE.
I have a 209, and i wasn't convinced about how it looked either. Just got 18" Brabus-VI wheels, and it changed the apperance big time. It looks stunning, just like the white one. Not even sure i need to lower it, but probably will.
Cheers
PS: If people say the 209 looks feminim, i'm not sure that's all that negative. I like the way women look ..... a lot
Now, take a look at the pic, and tell me if you're still not feeling the new look of the 209's; and if you say no....you guys need a good mule punch...LOL!
The 209's in my opinion have a sleeker and robust feature to the car vs. the 208's which looked more robust......
Now, what you guys need to do is let go of the past, and take hold of the future......LOL!
One more pic, to leave you guys drooling.....LMAO!
But, I have to admit though.....Damn! those OPel's are hot, and they are V-8'S. The funny thing about it though, when you check out the Opel's website the stock car is ugly as hell.....LOL!
More pics.......

Short dialog with Russian Lady C32 owner two doors down:
Me: " Hey! Beautiful car! You picked the perfect color! (Coincidentally, the same as my CLK55...)
Lady: "Thank You! I like your car too! It is beautiful too! I would like to have bought one like yours, but I cannot use baby seat as easily in CLK...."
I rest my case....
Never fear, Bruce.... Frank; See below:

or just the AMG models. Sure the C-class ARE infact driven mostly by women, so is the CLK-class.
rest my case.
