Clicking noise

My car was recently lowered with eibach springs and bilstien shocks...I have 19" brabus V rims 8.5 in front 9.5 in rear 235/35R19's in the front 265/30R19's in the rear. There is an intermittet clicking noise while driving the car. Any idea on what it is?

Talking Clicking Noise

HR Springs
I installed phase 1 HR Springs on my car and it looks great., but now I have a clicking noise on the rear left. Do the springs have just one position, or can they be off.
Anyboby with the same situation?

Answer from Ben @ evo sport
Something is probably loose. I'd have to hear the noise to be sure, but I would recommend going over the work again

Either something is loose, or the link for one of the ride sensors is broken. Check the rear-right suspension. Furthest inwards in the control arm (ONLY ON SOME CARS) is a little link about the size of your pinky finger. If it is broken, then it needs to be replaced. If not, something is loose/needs to be repositioned.

I had this problem in the rear when I put my brabus on, same set up as you. I took my car to F1 and they changed the center bolts for me and rolled the fenders, no more clicking sounds now.

Your problem was that your lug nuts were too long. His problem occured when lowering the car (unless it was already there).

I got my car lowered, and I got rims so the lugs might be the problem...but I am running the brabus sparcers and lugs, any chance that they gave me the wrong size?

Ben my car is in San Diego right now, do you think you would be able to tell me whats wrong with it if I brought it by your shop? Do you think its safe to bring that far?

We could most likely diagnose the problem if you brought it to our shop, but it may not be necessary at this point. Is the clicking a repeated sound, that increases with speed, until you can't hear it anymore (due to road noise)? If so, then it's your lugs. An easy way to find out would be to put your stock wheels back on where the noise is coming from (with stock lugs), and see if the noise disappears.

I haven't heard the noise, so I can't comment on whether it would be safe to drive.

I think I know what the problem is, I went to brabus to buy longer lugs for the wheels and the guy said the clk need 10 mm spacers in front and 16mm spacers on the back, I told him I already had spacers on the wheels but he had to sell them together because they came in a kit. I took the stuff back to the guy who is working on my car rolling fenders etc and told him the brabus guy recommended we use all the new parts, he said the existing parts worked just fine and he only needed the lugs, so I think the existing spacers were 15 mm and he used the lugs for a 16 mm spacer...does this sound like it could be the problem? if so I will just put the 16 mm spacer on and the problem should be solved right?
