W209 Rims/Tyres on a W208 CLK???
Hi
Sorry if this has been covered before. I've tried searching the forum, but can't find a definitive answer.
Will OEM 17" rims and tyres from an '04 CLK (W209) fit my '99 CLK (W208) without any mods?
Would I need the bolts from the 209 or the 208, or does it not matter?
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks andy_clk55 !
I thought I'd read somewhere about 12mm and 14mm bolts being the difference between the 2 models. Guess it doesn't matter after all!

Hi gn3
Yes, I did mount the W209 rims to my car last year. Went straight on without any mods needed [and made a world of difference to to the look of the car!!]
If I remember correctly, I needed to use the bolts from a 209 (slightly longer than those for a 208) in place of the old ones. Please confirm this when fitting.
Hope this helps!
(ps I will get round to updating the pic with the new wheels!!)

99 CLK 320, 01 CLK 430, 03 CLK 500
just to confirm. i just mounted rims from an '07 w209 on my '00 w208.
they fit fine but you have to buy the lug studs for a w209 due to the increased length needed. They will run you around $100+/- from the dealer or $80 from feeBay.
