How to reset msg center in dash
Hello Folks,
I recently did the servive b on my car. I did it with the help of a mechanic I know. Did all the oil changes, filters. e.t.c I was wondering if you all could tell me how to reset the msg that reminds me about the service b. It keeps saying day 10 oast due service b, blah blah.

I did check the manual and that procedure to reset the message center did not work. I also researched the forums. I just played around with the controls and managed to get it to reset. Here is what I did:
-place the electronic key to position 2
-use the steering wheel controls to bring up the screen that had the number of overdue days
-press 'R' two times in one second, but I did not release it after the second time. I held it there for 10 seconds until the screen changed to read 'Do you want to reset....'
-release 'R' and then press and hold it for another 10 seconds.
-the system reset it self .
