Cleaned MAF now problems

I just cleaned my Maf and now when i started the car it is shaking pretty badly and it looks like the two fans in front are not moving. I drive an 02 430. Any suggestions

the shaking isnt as bad now and the mechanic things one of the cylinders misfired what would cause that. Sorry im a newb about this stuff

What did you clean it with? If it wasn't fast evaporating the sensor was probably still wet when you started it up. Or if the cleaner you used left any residue that could cause an issue.

Did you use CRC MASS AIR FLOW CLEANER???? I used my to clean then wait about 20 mins. to put it back in....it runs very smooth now...

The problem still exists. I think the problem may be unrelated to the MAF but im not sure. I used an MAF cleaner from autozone that says it leaves no residue. MY mechanic feels a slight misfire but when he put a scanner on the car he couldnt find anything. COuld it be the spark plugs? The car has 51,000 miles and it is an 02. The plugs were never changed.

Yes..I bought my from Autozone too...no problem at all, anyway I dont think your MAF cause that problem...it might be something else not sure...sorry wish I can help you..I know your feeling right now.
