Absent StarTac
My cousin just got a W208 clk 430 WOOHOO, it looks exactly like mine, anyway...she has a factory phone system in there but the MB StarTac phone is missing. Any idea where I can get one? or perhaps adapt the system for a v60? I want to make sure that whatever I do I can use the voice dialing and everything else that you should be able to use if the system was stock. TIA.

I have Samsung S105, do you guys think I can set it up to work in my car with the celphone set? The dealer told me a long time ago that you need to have a line just for your car. Any idea of how I can use my own celphone on my car? Thanks !
Sorry nuttertmf, I'm not much help, i don't know anything about celphone for our cars.

Now you got me started...
I have a 2k w/ the same phone. I has needed to be replaced *twice* and great pain both times. It is not possible to use a regular Startac phone or any other off-the-shelf phone. It has to be the special MB version. You will have to get it from the dealer.
The further bad news is that they only have referb phones as Moto has long disontinued them. They are rare and getting rarer. The bad new does not stop there. AT&T will no longer activate them. I had to switch to Verizon. ..new fon num and everything. *sigh*
There is a bit of marginally good news. You can have it converted to a V60 for only..wait for it...only $1500! OK...perhaps not good news...but at least it's an option.

If I get the v60 conversion from www.autoclass.net will it work with my voice dialing? Will I need a special mb v60?
