been busy modding
its has been a while since i posted anything, i was a bit busy modding

i installed a full AMG exhaust system from a C43, cut the original system after the cats before the Y shaped link, installed the C43 middle / back box, it fit perfectly, the sound is very pleasing you feel its stock before 3000 rpm and after that there is a very nice "sport" rumble... i dunno if i have any performance effect but the engine feels more relaxed in a way ...

i also installed a flat hood emblem came off an ML no gluing at all!!! i fabricated a little pice of metal with 2 holes and got the plastic pins that attach to it the result is very pleasing!!!

i am currently working on the 3.07 diff swap, i already sourced the parts needed, the EGS (tranny control) and the differential. but i got them from a 99 CLK 320, my mechanic is positive that i will loose the tiptronic but we still didn't try it... any thoughts? any help will highly be appreciated

i will post pics as soon i get it cleaned up

well i am in Beirut Lebanon, but i have been to the UAE / bahrain , planning to go to saudi jeddah if i get a visa...

you are a 100% right, but it seems that tiptronic is a part of the EGS transmission control unit, because when i hooked up the one i bought which is for a 99 clk320 model in my car the tiptronic didn't work it even didn't light up on the car, now i am searching for a EGS TCU thats from a 2000+ clk 320 so i can complete the installation and put the 3.07 diff on...
