Question about the W and S button

Which one of these saves more gas? i really can't tell

normally i drive in the S mode but i don't know which one is better

The only difference is that the W mode does not use the lowest gear when moving from a stop. This prevents wheel spin during snow days. There is no other change in the transmission after moving from a stop. If you drive like an old lady for a while, the transmission will learn your habits and probably will get some improvement in fuel efficiency but the W mode won't do it....but what fun is that!
