Just last night i had the Fuel Light flickering on and off, and then the Check Engine Light came on. Any ideas on what could have happened. Oh yeah, this happened on my way home from a club, and i filled the tank on my way down to the club. So it was a full tank of gas at 94 octane.

And i already checked the gas cap. Didn't fix it.

the way ur making it sound is that u never did wind up fixing it

i'm a licensed mechanic, i just don't have access to a scanner to read the code till tuesday and i wanted to figure it out now.

the car is already on 4 axle stands and i'm going to drop the rear cradle and diff to take a look at the fuel system.

i'll keep u updated in what i find

After tightening the cap, the vehicle will need to go through several start and run cycles then will clear itself. The ECU wants to make sure the problem is really gone. Should clear after two or three days.
