This seems to be a fairly common problem on this forum - is it the way we drive? You should be able to scan through the archived posts to find where to go, but the answer to your question is, yes, it can be fixed.
Going back to my suggestion that this seems to be a common problem, I have curbed the wheels on my CLK on more than one occasion, yet I have NEVER done this on any car I previously owned in the last 36 years. I admit that I drive this car more like a racing car, that is, I try to straighten out the bends as much as possible, than with any other road car. As an ex-racing driver, I find it fun. I also left-foot break all the time, something I only did from time to time before.
I guess the CLK brings out the fun factor I certainly love driving mine, when its on the road!

I also scraped my rim, here is a picture. Does anyone know a place in or near San Diego where I can get it repaired? I have spoken with a wheel shop who said it would be $330 to just replace the wheel (17x8.5 AMG monoblock III).
