Tom,

To save you any unnecessary trouble, we ordered the same kit (and some other parts) I have now from them last February. We have yet to be given our product or money.

The car burns rubber because it is a CLK320 with a Kleemann Supercharger (you can see it in one of their pictures).

It a whole industry in Germany to have extreemly wide wheels, and it can be driven and when it's made right, the car simply drives like a dream.

The trick is very wide rims, like a 11" on a CLK and then a tire which is 285. The 285 tire is small for the wide rim and therefor
bend off so the rim sticks out. The smaller tire creates an angle
so it's easier to clear the body. A 285 on a 9,5 rim would make the tire bubble out from the rim and make it impossible to clear the body.
It takes a lot of body work, and should only be done by experts who really knows what they are doing.

Just look at the yellow KLEEMANN SL from the Essen show, 10,5
x 20 with 265/30 Z 20 in the front and 12x20 with 305/25 Z 20
rear, extreem but looks great.

11" wheels are based on what kinda rim you have right? so you wont be able to have that wide of a rim if you had bbs LM or brabus monoblocks right?! you can have wider tires but it would fit the rim that can support it then its not going to work right? 11" is just how wide mh-mezent made their rims right?! still kinda confused..

for ur info jamE55... i got 240 for now but by summer i should be able to land a 500 cabrio so im doing my research now!

That's correct tango. Haven't seen 11"s on the monoblocks but i have seen 11"s on LM's.

Good for you on doing your homework! Let me know if i can help you with anything else.
