Do you live in Illinois?
My dad is a VW/Audi/Porsche mechanic and I get his discount at his distributor. Just replaced mine and I think the pirce was $220 something like that. I did notice that KO performance's prices are really cheap if you don't live in the Chicago area.

You can buy a OE Bossch MAF insert from Ebay, shouldn't cost more than $100 +/-. Just make sure its original Bosch, lots of Chinese copies out there.
