I live in MD and wanted to replace the original radio with an aftermarket one. The horror stories I received from the folks around her about that fiber optic cable and cost to change it out made me change my mind. Is there a aftermarket radio with Nav, Ipod, DVD etc that is compatible with the cars computer other equipment.

Teeze, I would recommend doing a search. Many people have replaced the stock headunit with aftermarkert ones.

I installed a pioneer d3 with bluetooth and a ipod adapter with no problems. It sound good on my bose speakers. The only thing I had to do was get it installed. Since the new pioneer is a double din the installer had to cut out the pocket under the old radio but besides that no problems.
