Stop lamp switch, maybe?!?!!?

this is going to sound a lil ironic but here it goes. I work at a Nissan dealer selling parts, local shop calls, asks for stop lamp switch/grommets for xxxx Nissan car. I say no problem I'll send em. Few hours later I get a call from teh same guy sayin he hasn't gotten the parts. I check the system and I realize I forgot to invoice the quotation (fahwk). All my delivery drivers are gone for the day leavin me responsible for taking the parts over to him. I jump in the benz to take the 5 mile trip over there. Ridin down the street and I get the "lamps inop" code flashing. I think nothing of it since I just installed HIDs and took the tiny bulbs out of the daytime running lights. Disregard and deliver the part to the shop. As I walk back to my car (I left it running) I notice all 3 brake lights are on...wtf?!?!? Turn the key off, turn it back on, same ****. I turn the ignition off completely and check for lit tail lights, but they are off now. Turn it back on, on again. Play with the brake pedal, still same result. Now I'm thinkin my stop lamp switch went bad enroute to delivering a stop lamp switch!!!

anyone have this problem with their clk? Is is common? Quick fix?

I called my "guy" at Benz dealership but he hasn't called me back...can I DIY this?

Help, thanks!!!

Sounds like you need a brake light switch. It takes 15 minutes to replace. If you search brake light switch, you'll find the DYI write-up on it.
