car mat cleaning tips? rubber winter mats for CLK?
Any tips on cleaning the car mats? They got really dirty with all the snow and grime from Boston weather.
Also any reccomendations on rubber mats, either OEM or aftermarket for the, CLK?
Thanks

I bought these great rubber matts from Car and Driver??? (I think). I bought them at some generic auto store (autozone? Grand auto?). I think Target sells them too. They have really deep gutters all around the rim unlike other matts. These gutters are great for holding melted snow. You can literally pour a few cups of water onto these rubber matts and they'll hold it within their gutters (If you hang hard turns, it might slosh out, but that has not happened to me yet).
If you want a pic of them, just email me. I haven't learned to attach pics to my posts yet.
I think they were about $29.

EFF YOU JACKIE
I spent a little extra and went with the OEM mats. Couldn't be happier. Easy to clean, warm soapy water, then dry thoroughly. Easily done... here is a pic
