What does this do?
I was checking to see if my 1999 W208 430 CLK had phone pre-wiring. The only thing I could find is underneath the centre armrest and I am not sure what it is. It is basically a translucent plastic connector which was mounted flush into the side of the box (requiring removal with a flat edge screw driver), which looks like something would plug into it. Printed on this is K5 V9924. Does anyone know if this is the phone connection?

If it looks like an RJ45 connector then it is more than likely the phone connection. If you look to the right of it you should also see a small coaxial cable that is also part of the phone system.
