'01 CLK 430
Drive Shaft Vibration Question

hi im new to this whole mercedes benz forum stuff.... im a new owner of a 2001 clk 430 and i feel vibration in the rear when i shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear but after that i dont feel it when shifting into other gears. can anyone please explain why this might be happening? thanks to all who reply

White 1999 CLKL320
The drive shaft has a flex disc on either end. I would check them for cracks, pieces missing or broken bolts. I saw a cracked flex disc on an E320 and it caused vibration under light load at 35-38 mph.
