EBC rear break pad fitment problem...

A you can see there isn't a guide hole for the pin in the new EBC pads (red). The pads fit but cant be held in place. These are the correct pads according to the place I bought them. I'm contacting EBC to find out if the part # matches up.

Anyone else run into this?

The EBC pads that you have are with 2 retaining pins. The original ones that you took off of your car are with a single retaining pin. Wrong pads

These are definitely the wrong pads, the car comes with either 1 or 2 retaining pins and you have one of course. You will have to return the pads and get the one pin pads.

Or, just like the guy above stated!!

Ok, thanks for all the replies. So there's not trick to his just the wrong pads. I got these at autopartswarehouse. No option for single pin.

After looking around on their site I noticed a 2000 c230's rear pads "look" like the right ones anyone know if they'd fit?

Ok so the ebc website wasn't very helpful since it didnt have any pad spicific to the Clk, I guess since the rear calapers are used on other models. What I did notice was 2001-2005 Clk pads are single pin like my 2k. I guess mb changed rear calapers during the 2k model year, can anyone confirm this?

I guess I'll sell them since I'm well past the return date-any takers?

EBC ended up emailing me the correct part number, but I had already ordered single pin CLK 2k1 pads. They fit perfect.

Again if anyone wants the 2pin rear set make me an offer-Ill let them go pretty cheap. I payed $74.
