What is this little box that is ticking???
Here are some pics of this little black box right in front of the wiper fluid resovoir? The ticking goes on for about 20 secs then dies down. Then comes on about 35 secs later...? Im thinking it has to do with vacum and hoses but im no expert... HELP ME! lol.. thank you

That is a purge valve for the fuel system. Mine clicks sometimes but it is nothing to worry about. I have heard reports of people cleaning these out with carburetor cleaner but I have no idea if it helps.

Thanks for posting this OP. I heard the tick today also, after finding out one valve head gasket is bad. I thought it was an ABS malfunction, good to know it's normal.

thank god i just bought mine and the next day heard the clicking. i have been very worried and was going in on wensday to get it checked out. glad to hear its ok. I also thought it was the valves as well
