Steering Wheel Leather is FADING

You can replace it or have it re-covered. Do you park outside often? Do you use hand/skin lotion? (some brands can play havoc with certain dyes in leather)

I have stripped the dye off of steering wheels and re-dyed them, although I have primarely done this on two-tone wheels, when I change the color. Never done a full wheel before. Goof Off does a good job of removing the dye, but it takes a while and does not harm the leather. You could try to re-dye over your existing dye.

YOU CAN TRY THIS
AN EXELENT PRODUCT IS COLOR BOND VINYL AND FABRIC SPRAY. I JUST RE COLORED THE SEATS AND DASH IN MY 1981 380 SL. AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY THEY TURNED OUT. THIS STUFF WILL NOT RUB OFF AND COMES IN ALL COLORS FOR ALL MAKES OF CARS.

Heads up: the factory steering wheels in the 430s are not leather. They are vinyl so make sure you choose the right product if you go that route.
FYI - I have an unfaded used black 430 factory steering wheel if that's what you need. PM me if interested.
