What was wrong with your cats? My cats were F***ed up too last summer; but my car was still under warranty cause I only had 59,XXX miles or so. As a result, Mercedes Benz Ralley replaced my cats for FREE. Where did you get your suspension done, by Bert? How much did it cost you? Did you have to get front and rear camber kits to accomadate your rims? As for the custom bumper I have asked East Cost Body, Fender Bender, Detailing Dynamics (their body man), etc and they all said no to custom fabrication of the bumper. They said it was too much of a head ache and that they didn't want to spend the time to make it. That's why I am waiting for the Carlsson RS replica front bumper on this forum. Have you seen the replica mounted on a w208? It looks pretty sick. Just something to consider. Maybe if you purchase the replica with me from Charlie he could ship the bumper in one package to one address making it cheaper for me and you.

well i bought my car april 2006 with 82K now it has 102k.... really clean runs really good bla blah blah....lol well my check engine light had turned on one day after beatin on the car....i brought it to my mechanic and he said it was the cats.....so i took it to bert and he replaced them with factory ones......cost me 1475.40 with taxes i also had to replace a throttle sensor and 2 exhaust seals....but got rid of the engine light so now im all happy but now one more problem ....my top started to act funny again and now it hasnt gone down for awhile.....i was thinkin about takin it a german autoshop on willis ave in albertson, see if they could check and see if its some relay switch or something simple rather then taking it to the stealership and get robbed when it could be something for 15 bucks....ive seen alot of clks there so im gonna give it a shot sometime next week....what color is ure car? is it a silver coupe?

oh i bought H&R springs on ebay and my mechanic put them on.....i took it to good year and they were only able to do the front alignment and not the rear cause it needed the chambers but it doesnt look like its tucked in neither so im not worried.... and the angles came out good on the sheet i just cant remember where i put it ... doesnt rub , only when i reverse and cut the wheel i hear it rub no big deal...... im only lookin to put the updated bumper thats on another thread here....the silver one...if it was that bumper then heck yea i would in a heart beat...ive been wanting that bumper ever since ive seen it on that opalw208 which was awhile back now...that looks really nice...to bad its not that bumper!

LOL I am also Portuguese...Ooo I think that guy is called Carlos. He does good work when he wants, to according to other people that have gotten body work, but bad work when I guess he "just doesn't care or in a rush." I haven't talked to him yet. When you pass by his shop ask him how much it would cost to paint and mount the front bumper on our w208s?

Yea, I was reading up on threads about the 55 Airbox. IMO one of the first performance mods one should consider when the need for more HP is on one's mind. I was actually looking into customizing my intake to look like Blackbenzz's intake. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-QJFAuJcMs
Check his intake setup (Headlights Mod) and the front bumper at 0:57 seconds. That's the exact bumper I want which is the Carlsson RS replica with the middle piece cut out. I would also get fog lights.

yea that car is something else...lol more like a beast ...i saw pics of the intakes and that looks awesome too...theres alot of things i wanna do to my car too but i also gotta worry about crap and my girls car and im gettin married soon and rite now the only thing im gonna do is the exhaust and fix my top before the summer...then i do all the modifications little by little....

if u go to the mechanic shop thats infront of the village hall.. the portuguese guy victor did them at his house and he was the one who dropped my car also ...lol he did a really good job... it took a week to settle in..like it got lowered within aweek ....he changes my oil and he did my calipers when he did my brakes awhile back.....hes pretty good for lil maintenance like that nothin serious tho...thats where bert comes in then
