Yo Momma
get me a E55 but i think they both are great cars, the only difference would be coupe and sedan, coupe will handle better and might not have airmatic suspension, on the other hand the e55 comes with airmatic.

You can easily get W208 CLK55 for under $15k, they are selling around that all day long, and the money you save you can put into some modifications to make it quicker or look better (or whatever you like). As far as build quality the 2001-2002 W208 CLK55s (Like the W210 E55s) are great. The W211 not so much, they "feel" cheaper. With that said the W211 E55 is a quick car with alot of power, but its hardly a sports car. The CLK is roughly 500+ lbs lighter and still has a very potent package (its even 300lbs lighter than W210 E55). really it comes down to do you want 2dr or 4dr, both are very quick.

no the car would not be a salvage car.. my work just gets crazy low prices on cars for some reason so it shouldnt be hard to get the E55 for under 20k plus i dont have to pay anything more than auction price

are you sure you aren't talking about W210 E55? b/c those are under $20k all day long, but W211 E55 is tough to see that. Lowest I'm seeing retail is about $28k, so $8k off wholesale is alot. But if you can do it for that price get it b/c you could always drive 1-2 years and then sell it for same price
