Help Please....

Whats up everyone. Today I went to pick up my car from the body shop but it wasn't starting so we connected it to another battery to charge up for about 5 minutes and the car started. Once the car started the display says"ELEC,traction, PROG and on the bottom it says ESP in large letters and on the very bottom it says visit workshop" also my BAP?ESP light is on. In addition i press on the gas pedal and to rev the gas pedal is not working it just makes the car rev a tiny bit and then the engine keeps reving up and down at low RPMs it sounds like a none tuned engine of a RC car. I swapped the throttle censor that is on the bottom of the cas pedal cable assembly inside the hood where the cable gets connected to and no luck. I let the car run for about 20 mintues and nothing. any help would be appreciated.

try a battery bro!!!
our cars use a lot of power and if the battery is weak, that could be your problem!

Man i had the same problem, after i picked up from the workshop, battery was dead and they recharged it for me. when i started every kind of malfunction was there. it has to do with ecu, i think driving the car for a while then turn it off and on will fix it. and sick430 is right you should consider a new battery, thats what i did. gdluck
