Shifter Problem
Does anybody know how to get to the little plastic piece that runs along the shift lever slot? It's the little corrugated piece right under the shift lever in the following picture. Mines doesn't follow the shift lever anymore and I was wondering if there was a way that I could fix it.

yeah i have the same problem. figured there wasnt a fix... maybe super glue the pieces back together.. haha anyone have anyother ideas

Mine was removed before I bought the car and it works fine. I'm just a little more cautions not to get anything in there. If I could find a new one I would like to get it.

i knew i wasn't the only one...

i can get it to close but once i shift into a gear, it will not follow the shifter back to P.
