Replacing Battery in the Trunk

So I'm going to replace my battery in the trunk. It's still good, but I need to fit another battery beside it and I need to find something that is smaller than this huge thing.

I have an intensely upgraded electrical system for my stereo, (3 Batcap 2000s). I just want to get something that is sufficient for our cars and isn't as long.

Any suggestions?

What is the minimum Ah the battery I buy must have? Does it really matter?

I was looking into the Optima Red Top Battery. I know a few other people on the forums were mentioning it as a possible replacement but I also dont know definitively of anyone who has installed a Red Top. Everyone is keen on just calling the mercedes tow service and letting them just replace it for you for a very reasonable price of 120USD. Maybe a tad bit more - depending on if your a MBCA member.

GL with your decision.

Thanks for opinion good Sir.

I've found a number of posts on here with guys running Red Tops too. Mostly in the W211 forum.

I mainly want to get the smallest battery possible, while supplying a sufficient amout of CCAs along with getting the right "type" of battery. It will mostly just be for start up, as my other batteries can handle more than just my amp if need be.
