You gave me hope ahmed18881. Like you I am putting a new engine in my CLK430 only it's a 55 AM!! I'm going to post what I did when it's all done. Right now I've got the same problem you had going from 110mph - 140mph on kick-down. It's about the same as my 430. How was the problem solved? The car is booked on Wednesday for a custom tune on my 430's ecu. I've got the 55's ecu as well but was told I couldn't use it as it is chassis coded. Can it be unlocked? Congrats on your conversion!!
