My poor car...and wallet
Been a rough week for me. I bought a couple 70%+ G-force KDW tires for a steal ($125 for the pair)...found out the inner belt was broken when trying to mount them. Not such a great deal. So $450 later, my car was sitting waiting on the new G-force's to be installed (front, already have the rears).
While it was at the shop, a lady backed into my car. She's going to take care of it, but my poor car will never be the same to me. What a week!! I just hope the paint blends appropriately
Also, I had to cancel my track day for the end of this weekend b/c I have to start saving $$ a little better for future travels...especially with an economy like this. I finish school in May and the Atlanta engineering job search isn't so bright!

Are you getting your money back for the tires?
I try to avoid buying used tires online but $125 for a pair sounded really good. Instead, buy inexpensive new tires.

Preciate it fellas. Yeah the tires were so cheap I had to try. I'm working on getting refunded tho. It's gonna happen. It's family friends that dinged the car, so they're going to take care of it for sure.
NO BONDO! It'll have to be done properly

Ghost, thanks pal. I'm keepin my head up for sure! I just know how we're all passionate about our cars here and wanted to keep yall in the loop.
Definitely could be much worse. I have my family, good friends, and a savior. Car issues are a little petty compared to the things that matter!

sorry to hear about the tires bud. you can be glad that your cost of ownership and maintenance of this high performance car is low so you sometimes eat these kinds of things ; -)
