2 really rare problems with my CLK320 cabriolet
2 strange problems.
FIRST PROBLEM:
--------------------
A newly bought battery has been totally discharged for 2 times by leaving the car idle for just 4 days. (not able to open the door).
The engineer checked the current of the car when it's idle. The amp-meter read 70mA. So, it should be fine.
He started the engine and checked the voltage of the battery again. It's 13.5V. When the engine stopped, it's 11.8V
So, it *seems* no problem with the car. But the battery is new. What could possibly happen? Or just I'm so unlucky the newly bought battery has defect or is not a new one indeed.
SECOND PROBLEM!!
--------------------------
After at around 160km/h or uphill at around 60km/h (engine rev at 3,000 to 4,000), when the car stops, I hear very strange "lung lung lung lung" sound under the left-boot. And this is the ONLY condition that the werid sound occurs.
I tried shift-N and increased the engine to 3,000 - 4,000 -- no such sound. I tried shift-1 and ran the car with engine around 3,500 for a while -- no such sound.
I tried to apply brakes down a long long hill, no sound.
I tried to run the car at 120km/h (engine around 2,000) -- no such sound.
What could be wrong!?
Excuse me for my poor English...

It's a 99-made CLK320.

The second problem is solved after I change the engine oil. Apparently, it's the problem of old engine oil.
