H&R sport springs with stock shocks
I plan to lower my CLK 430 with H&R sport springs but would like to keep the stock shocks since I can't afford to change both. Will there be any driving and suspension issues if I did this? TIA

When I first got my CLK it had that exact same setup. The ride was bouncy and the shocks were basically blown, not sure if from the springs or if they were already blown when the PO put in the springs. I have since installed Bilstein Sports and the ride is firm, but it handles and feels very tight.
Anyway, if you are doing it just to improve the look of your car, then go for it. The only thing that will happen is that your stock shocks will blow soooner or later because they are not designed to handle the lower springs.
If you are trying to improve the handling of your car, then wait until you can afford to replace both the shocks and springs at the same time.
