Removing center cap from wheel

Is there anyway to remove the center cap from the wheel without taking the wheel off the car?

I want to put new center caps on my rim.

Thanks.

Argggh, that's what I figured. Thanks for the confirmation.

Does the wheel need to be realigned after I take them off? I was considering waiting until the spring to put my center caps on when I get the pros to take my snow tires off.

No re-alignment is necessary. Just remove the wheel, pop the senter cap out and replace it with the new one. The re-insall the wheel making sure to toruqe the wheels bolts to the correct torque in the common star pattern to avoid warping the rotors.

Then, after you drive 50-100 miles, retorque the wheels again.

I didn't know people retorqued the wheels after 50-100 miles. But that makes good sense.

Thanks all for the help!

WAIT.. THERE IS A WAY TO TAKE OUT WHEEL CAP WITHOUT TAKING THE RIMS OUT.

DEFINITELY ANSWER IS YES!

I SAW F1MOTORSPORTS DID ON MY LORINSER RIMS WITHOUT TAKING THE RIMS OUT.

THERE IS A TOOL (PIN SHARP KNIFE) THAT CAN BE TAKEN OUT EASILY. BUT, YOU MUST HAVE THAT TOOL.

I GUARANTEE THAT YOU CAN TAKE OUT WHEEL CAP WITHOUT TAKING YOUR RIMS OUT. DEFINITELY! (PERHAPS, MAYBE ONLY LORINSER????)

BUT WHAT I THINK IS THAT IF LORINSER WHEEL CAPS CAN BE TAKEN OUT, IT WON'T BE DIFFICULT TO TAKE OUT OTHER BRAND NAMES.
