How much will it cost to fix a paint blister on my passenger side fender? The blister is smaller than a penny. I know it will eventually get bigger.

Thanks
Steve

Did you get your car painted recently? Because if you did, that "blister" should be covered under warranty. Blisters typically happen when the painters don't do a good job of prepping and primering, and they start painting over the primer before it dries 100%. OR, they used some crappy prep materials.

No, car has never been painted or in an accident (CARFAX). My mechanic checked the car completely before purchasing it and he said the only part repainted/repaired is the front bumper. The blister is on the edge of the passenger side fender where it meets the bumper. My idea is that it was a rock that chipped the fender and over time it became a blister.
