hey everyone. So today i went to install my led taillights. after i installed my tail lights i hookedup the inner (pieces that sit on the trunk) to the license plate bulbs which currently have led bulbs in them, everything worked great but the inner piece tail lights were lighting up too bright because they are meant for brakes, so what i did was i pust a big resistor on the wires way from the license plate bulb to the trunk piece tail light and it made them dimmer. out of no were they just stoped working(the trunk pieces not the big pieces). so i disconnected them from the license plate lights. now every tim i contect the posetive wire to the license plate's posetive wire the license plat light shuts off also i changed the license plate bulb from the led to the regular oem bulb, but it doesnt light up, as soon as i conect the led light back it works. it is very strange my license plate light works if the led bulbs are in but if i put the regular bulbs back in they wont light up. i'm not sure what is going on i really cant figure it out. i keep puting the led lights in the license plate bulbs and they work and as soon as i put the regular bulbs they don't. i'm not sure if putting the resistor on their way took too much current or what ever. now i can't change my license plate bulbs back to the oe factory ones. i checked all the fuses and everything is fine, can some one please help me with this it is driving me crazy. thanks
