Just purchased 99 CLK 320 Cabriolet

Hi,

I just purchased a 99 CLK 320 Cabriolet and saw that the rear seat was not properly attached. It seems to have three hooks that it hung on in the back, a left right and middle. I was able to hook the middle but still can't connect the other two.

Would it ever be necessary to unhook the rear seat? How is it done and then rehooked? Does this mean that someone had to work on the convertible mechanism?

Any insight would be appreciated. I am guessing that I may need to unbolt some connectors at the base and then slide the seat up. Then slide it back down with the three hooks latched in, and then rebolt whatever was undone.

Thanks,

Justin
