I recently read on a website of approved oils for MB is the Mobil 1 0-40 because it is readily available and listed walmart as a source. While in walmart I saw that they have the M1 in the 5 gallon jugs with a price drop to $22. Is this the correct oil?

I have been using 0-W40 since I got the car with 19k miles and now I am at 77k miles. Maybe another member with higher mileage could chime in. If no one does, just do a search. Lots of information on these boards.

I use Amsoil and I have 125,000 miles on my 1998. I've been using it for about 40,000 miles and I like it. I previously used M1 purchased in the jugs.

I'm using the 5w-40 ESP dealers are using around here.
