Salvage???

my friend purchased a clk430 as salvage title coz of an accident so we took the old title to the DMV. but then when we got the new title and it does not say anywhere on it that its salvage, we know its salvage coz when we pulled carfax it shows there but is it possible??? it's not salvage anymore???

i know its aupposed to have the salvage title remark on the right hand top corner. guess he got lucky

Congratulations, you have just "washed" the title. A practice of many unscrupulous dealers. Not saying you did it on purpose or with any bad intent, just that it happened.
