'00 CLK430 OEM Wheels?
Although I'm nearing the time I'm going to "retire" my coupe, I'm thinking a shiny new pair of "shoes" for it might spiff it up a bit. The standard 5-spoke AMG wheels are looking a bit tired...
I've searched a number of sites for comparable wheels, but I can't figure out if I need to buy different sizes for the front and rear; the standard tire sizes are 225/45-17 (front) and 245/40-17 (rear). Some wheels specify just 17" rims, other state they ship in 8" fronts/8.5" rears.
I'm not looking to "plus up," but I am thinking of going to a chrome wheel versus the matte finish.
A lot of folks here have taken this step, so I'd like to hear advice and opinion, please.
