Rolling Forward

Does anyone's car feel like it rolls a few inches forward or backwards when you put it in park? I have not owned an automatic car in some time and cant remember if this is normal or not. The transmission seems fine as far as driving goes but I have noticed that it tends to move a little when I put it in park. Is this normal or is it just me? Could it be a bad flex disk on the driveshaft?

Thanks

It's normal. I think every MB I've ever had has done this.

i always > neutral > parking brake > shift to park..so it does not roll and it's easy to get into a gear from park.

I do the same thing.. I never like the weight of the car sitting on the transmission.. Especially in San Fran Some of those hills would put a lot of stress on the tranny.

Thanks for the relief everyone.. I've actually been doing the same thing just in case.
