Cluster bulbs

I just replaced 2 of the small ones in the cluster that have a green base. They were 6 bucks each so 12 bucks for the pair at the stealership!!
I ended up finding them for 2.50 for the pair at O'Reillys Autoparts. The base where it screws in fit perfect, the only difference is the back part was a bit larger but it didn't matter and fit perfectly. Oh and the only other difference was that the cheaper bulb was 1/10th volt difference (no real difference).
They had some bigger ones there so you might want to check there first!

They might have it there as well..every other store didnt even carry that style of bulb at all.
What do you mean you changed the color to white??? Please show some pics man, I bet that looks bad ***. Mine shows up green so does yours show all white instead? What about the needles? Are they still orange or white?

Ohhhh Ok I see what you mean by white now!!! I like that alot...I just had my cluster apart to replace the bulbs and clean the pastic on the inside so it should be a very easy and worthwhile mod.

im in northern VA in sterling ..20 mns away from washington DC.
but im heading to Norlfok Va june 26-27 show for a bodybuilding show. My best friend is competing down there and that was the same show i was gonna do but i tore my pec early March and im out for the year,
Not takin my car though, will be driving his M3

i went to the dealer and i asked em for the bulb number and they could not tell me.. they gave me part number and i dont need that. HMMM gonna have to pull out the cluster and take the bulbs and see what i can find.
I asked em also if they sell the tool that pull out the cluster and told me : they dont sell it..
Last time i pulled out was with a coat hanger

SO i need to know how many bulb does the entire cluster take!!.. i think its take 3 different bulbs at 2 bulb each, total 6..i could be wrong
