It is a cut and clamp. I don't care what anyone says I've had 2 now and you do have to cut your existing system behind the mufler and then clamp the new exhaust on. It isn't that hard, but just wanted to make sure know now.

On their website (evosport) the price list for eisenmann exhaust for a 430 is $539, both for 2x70 mm tips and 2x83mm tips.
but when I talked to Ben, he gave totally different price which is way more expensive the list (even more for the bigger tips). Is this a typo in the website or eisenmann did raise their price recently or ben didn't like my voice on the phone?

Thanks for the quick response.
I am definitelly not getting the race exhaust....maybe the high performance if it's better than the AMG that I have.

Frappe,
The prices I quoted you were actually under Eisenmann's list price. Yes, our website is not up to date, but that is not the reason for the different prices on our site. Our site only lists prices for the Sport model, which is always cheaper. There are 9 different options for the CLK 430 alone!
There seems to be some confusion also with Eisenhaus's website. When you look on Eisenhaus, don't forget to add the $50 for customs. $539 (evosport) vs $555.39 (eisenhaus) for the 83mm Sport. The Race muffler from Eisenhaus is $620, which is exactly what I quoted you. Were my prices really "Way more expensive than list?" They were all within $5. You are welcome to purchase from whomever you'd like, but please make sure you know exactly what you are being charged.
Thanks,
Ben

Prices from eisenmann including delivery(per Jason):
sport $555
high $583
race $619
For the same price, why not give the business to evosport.

Ben,
On the evosport's website, it doesn't say what kind of eisenmann exhaust it is (sport, high or race) and the price list says both the 2x70 and 2x83mm are at the same price, which is $539. But you told me different price for different kind and on top of that another price for different tips. When I say "way more expensive" is when I compare the price you gave me, $620 I think, to the website's price which is $539.
If petie said Eisenmann did raise their price so it's solved the mystery.

OK, sorry for the mixup Btw, your voice on the phone was fine but the reception was a little fuzzy. Was it your cell phone ? The $620 is for the 83mm Race. The $539 was for the 76/83mm Sport.
Thanks,
Ben

its bolt on and it is the most amazing exhaust i have ever bought. I removed the resonator so i had to do some welding, it has the most amazing rumble when its idle. Not annoying like a ricer tin-can exhaust, but like a purebred german car. Oh god, i pee in my pants everytime i start the car. My friends love how it sounds at stop lights. Its incredible, everyone ditch your AMG, Supersprint, or whatever you have, and go out and buy an Eisenmann Race exhaust. I got mine from www.eisenhaus.com

Questions:
If you rate Eisenmann Race exhaust very loud.
What do you think about the stock CLK 430 exhaust?
Is 430 exhaust same as the sport eisenmann exhaust?
Thank you,
Solihin

My exhaust is louder and has more of a rumble when idle, it beats the AMG exhaust by far. I have the race exhaust, ive heard the Sport on a CLK430 that my friend owns, and it doesnt come near how mine sounds, mine has more of a powerful deep sound. Go with the race exhaust. BTW, I removed my resonator.
