Remove Key message. Won't start.
When I insert key, I get a "Remove Key" prompt in instrument panel LCD.
When I turn key, nothing happens, no solenoid, no starter, nothing.
What gives ?
Thanks

I have the same problem. 2 years ago I ordered the new 2007 MB key and it was programmed to work with my car and I never had any problems with it. Just a little over a month ago, I was getting ready to leave to school in the morning and I put the key in & I didn't hear the clicking sound when it connects with the ignition, I couldn't turn the key, etc...
I was about to tow the car to the shop, but I decided to try my old key and it worked. So if you have a spare key, try using that first because it could possibly be a problem with your key.

I had the same problem... Ordered a new key from the dealer ($140 with new key blade), then my problem was solved.
