speed sensitive wipers
This is the first vehicle I've owned with the speed sensitive wiper system, so I have nothing to compare it with. There seems to be no reasoning behind the wiper coming on. If I'm stopped sometimes it just goes like crazy with a slight mist outside, other times I'll be driving with the same precipitation and it will only wipe every 5 seconds or so.
Is there a way to "reset" this system or is it a deeper problem?

The sensor for the wiper is just over the rear view mirror. If there is water over this tiny sensor, then the wiper will turn on. I dont know if theres is a way to reset, but I dont think it would much difference. I liked the adjustable time delay function in my old acura. Too much technology sucks sometime.
I rarely use the rain sensing mode. If there is mist or little water on my windshield, i just press the wiper button in once.
