Does anyone know what could cause your fuel gauge to miss read your gas level??

When I fill up my fuel gauge only indicates a little over half full but I know it's full. I only use premium gas. However, I left my car with someone when I went out of town. I'm not sure what kind of gas they used. Also, how do you fix it?

Try fuel injection treatment worked for me !

 

This was a major issue. There should be some old posts. But yes, this happened to me (my fuel was always showing empty) and they had to replace the sensors and the entire dash gauge console. Luckily I was still under warranty!
