CLK 320 (2001) and 2015 GTR
warning lamp drivin me crazy

Its drivin me crazy. U all remember how i installed the blue lead light for my hw6 and i bought the red wire for my surge so doesnt get burn and other black wire to eliminate the warning lamp and had em for a year and no prob... Well 2day it came back on and checked all lights and everything is working. What do u think it is from ?

The resistor probably went bad, put a new one it usually happens.

ok thank u bro. but how would i know which resistor went bad? i mean i took one bulb out at a time and see if the warming lamp ll go away but it didn't. im guessin i need two new one?.... am i correct zeek? thanks for your input bro.

i'll do that as well SFCLK... 2mmrow night, gonna wait till its dark and turn every light in the car and see what is going on and if none, im guessing that Zeek is right, my resistors went bad.

it doesnt tell you which bulb is out? where did you put leds that you had to use resistors?

gonna check everything again 2nite but i put the led on the street light or its known as park lights!.and it doesn't tell me which one is out. all what it says'check all lamps

well yes check the license plate lights too, check both of your resistors, if one looks black then change it, if you cant tell at all, change both, they are very cheap anyway. If not try changing one then see, if still problem then switch and see if not then change both and see. If still fail then i dont know lol. GL and your welcome

not sure if this will help...the warning lights usually come on when you access that particular bank of lights...ex: when you put in reverse, if it's backup lights, your warning will come on....if you turn on fog lights, that will trigger warning if one is out...stepping on brakes.. etc....

i found it..It was MY license plate bulb.. Damn during the day i checked all and i guess i missed the license/s bulb even though i looked it at.. But last night, i checked em all and bam, i found it..

The license plate bulb has gotten quite a few of us before and has us looking all over the da** place. I am glad you found the prob and fixed it!! Now its time to enjoy again!!
