Green Tinted Rear View Mirror & Left Outside Mirron
I own the CLK 430 Cabriolet. Before I contact the dealer regarding the green tint on the rear view mirrors and the drivers left outside mirror, once the sun goes down, does anyone know if the dealer can take the tint off?

What you are seeing is the chromatics in action. Its actually your rear view mirror that changes as it gets darker. This is to compensate for the blinding headlights that people driving behind you sometime have.
I personally don't like it because I have tinted windows and it makes it too dark and impairs my vision.
To defeat this feature, look at the bottom right part of your rear view mirror. There should be a small black dot. This is the sensor that darkens the outside and inside mirror. Take a piece of black tape and cover the black sensor. This will leave your rear view mirror in daylight mode at all times. I actually took a paper hole puncher and punched out a round circle from black electrical tape. It fits perfectly over the round black circle and you wont notice it at all.
Hope this helps.
