HELP!!

Recently my BAS ESP ABS lights have come on and stayed on
I went to my mechanic and he said that my ESP unit was going and that it wasnt worth repairing, the lights will stay on.

But I was driving yesterday and the Check Engine Light came on and I know I am due for service soon. I just want to see if anyone is familiar with these symptoms.

A little rough at the idle I think it is the spark plugs
A little rough switching gears, its got a lag and it bounce I think its spark plugs
Last night however I pulled into a parking space but I didnt cut it enough so I through into reverse and started to press on the gas and it went nowhere
I watched it rev to 3,000 RPMS still nowhere
So I put it back in drive and revved it to 3,000 rpms and still nowhere
I turned the car off
I turned the car backed on and it went on but it turned rite off on me
Pretty weird
I turned the car on again and everything worked fine, still had the check engine light on tho.

Really confused
Anyone know??

The ABS, ESP, BAS light is probably caused by the STOP LIGHT SWITCH.

It's right behind your brake pedal underneath the dash. All you need to do is remove the plastic cover at the bottom (just above your feet in the floor board) and you'll see a little plug next to the brake lever connecting the pedal.

Do a search on here and you'll find the DIY on it. It's very easy and I just changed mine last weekend. Solved my ABS ESP BAS problem.

The part only costs $16 too.

As for your other problems, I would changed the spark plugs & wires if you haven't, and either clean your MAF or buy a new one.

I got a code p0175 thrown out and it said something like speed sensor

Another one I saw was a transmission turbine thing
I couldnt quite understand it

I think that is just my ESP system going bad as my mechanic said.

Also, my CEL has not been on since that day.

So I'll run another Diagnostic check tomorrow as I cleared the codes yesterday.

However my shifts are not as smooth as they used to be.

Where is the dipstick for the transmission fluid?

Should I add more fluid if needed or have someone change it?
