2003 CLK55 AMG

ABS/ESP lights on

i know this thread has been made before. and i am aware that replacing the brake should clear these lights. however, on my 2000 CLK430, they don't clear, and i have no brake light either. any idea on whats going on?

yes it is installed correctly, i'm a licensed mechanic for toyota

You mean you replaced the brake light switch...right?

So you're saying you don't have any brake lights at all, either?

What does the OBD II say? I've heard of some people having problems with the ESP unit itself...

My mechanic said that my EPS ABS unit was going and that the only thing to do is buy a new unit for like $2,000
I tried the Brake Light Switch too.

Idk my OBD-II gave me P0175

I cleared the code and it didnt come back, ill try again soon but the lights are still on, all the time

Did you reset the abs synch? Step on the brake, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and then all the way to the left and then to the center.
