Question about interchanging W208/W209 wheels

I have a 2001 320 cabriolet (W208) with (4) 205/55R 16 91H tires.

I need to replace a cracked a wheel and found someone local that has a set of almost new (4) wheels and 225/50R 16 93H tires that came on 2003 320 coupe (W209).

Questions:

1. I believe the 209s came with 205/55R 16 tires up front and 225/50R 16 tires in the rear. Is this true (e.g. he probably only looked at one tire)?

2. If so, are the front and rear wheels; the same with different tires sizes or are the wheels different (e.g. staggered)?

3. Has anyone used W209 wheels on their W208?

Thanks in advance for additional help with this.
