1998 CLK320: Vents not blowing air???

So my vents stopped blowing air recently...

I looked up the codes and got the following: 227 (outside temp sensor), 231 (engine coolant sensor) and 419 (electronic compression clutch)

Plus my refrigerant pressure is at 5 which is low.

So here is the thing....is it possible that the code for the compression clutch is being caused by the defective sensors and low refrigerant pressure....or is it most likely that the compression clutch has gone bad and everything else is the result.

I don't want to go and replace the compression clutch all ***** nilly but at the same time I don't want to pay to have the refrigerant recharged if it is the compression clutch because I am guessing that I would have to repeat the process after it is replaced.

Any thoughts?
